TV3 has launched its third edition of the sports reality show ‘Ghana Strongest’ in Accra. Organizers say season 3 promises to be exciting.
Head of Brands at TV3, Mr Felix Dontoh, said the show is designed to bring together athletes from various sports groups to compete against each other.
The show airs 2pm on Saturdays, and is a 13-week program which will end 7th June.
Dan Babu, a businessman and Foster Baffour, who have been commissioners of the show since its inception are still on.
Musician/Comedian, A Plus, is this season ’s presenter.
Contestants include: Ebenezer Nii Armah, Kofi Salia, Charles Amoah, Courage Kofi Adukpo, Eric Boadu Asah and Armed Boakye. The rest are: Victor Ofori, Douglas Adu Acheampong, Cyril Adga Kofi, Kwame Kwakye popularly known as ‘Barak Obama’, Godwin Mawuli Darku and Cudjoe Tetteh.
This year’s tasks include loading race, truck pull, overhead press, squat, dead lift, farmers walk, yoke walk (lua lua) and duck walk.
In a related development, the station has held a press soiree for its partners at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.
Speaking at the event, the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr Augustus B. Dickson, said the station continues to enjoy an enormous goodwill from its partners.
The station’s kids reality show, Talented Kids, is also airing.
